Infielder Gage Workman drove in four runs on three hits and Ian Koenig struck out eight over five solid innings, leading Triple-A El Paso to a 9-3 win on Thursday over visiting Las Vegas.
Workman also swiped his third base in a three-hit game that lifted his batting line to .257/.308/.286 in 18 games since joining El Paso following the trade from the Tigers.
Catcher Blake Hunt (1.004 OPS) and right fielder Carlos Rodriguez (.804 OPS) both also had three-hit games.
Rodriguez and shortstop Clay Dungan (.704 OPS) both doubled.
Koenig (1-0, 4.50 ERA) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks in five innings in the win.
Right-hander Logan Gillaspie (6.05 ERA) struck out five over three shutout innings.
El Paso is 54-81.
