Hailing from Abilene, Texas, Dexter and the Moonrocks are already becoming a crossover favorite with country and rock crowds. They refer to themselves as “Western Space Grunge,” and honestly, that’s a pretty great way to describe their sound.

Dexter and the Moonrocks’ newest album is currently available for pre-order on their website, and you can even get it on creamy white or dark purple vinyl. Nice. CDs are making a major comeback for collectors, and they have a CD version as well.

You Can Attend The Party- For Free

You are invited to the album release party at Cook’s Garage on Friday, October 2nd. It is FREE to attend, but you do need to “purchase” your tickets beforehand. You can do that here, and if you’d like to make a donation to Musicares while you’re there, that would be very nice of you. Tickets are going QUICK and will be gone soon.
