SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Jail Programs Unit is offering a class called “Vehicle for Change,” which uses virtual reality to teach incarcerated individuals basic auto mechanic skills.
The course covers vehicle maintenance, tire service, brake repair, and other foundational skills.
Officials say the class provides valuable job training while helping participants build confidence as they prepare for entry-level employment opportunities after their release.
