Governor Greg Abbott announces his reelection bid in Houston. There are no term limits for governor’s in the state. If elected, he would serve a fourth term.
The Governor said he announced in Houston because he and his family have close ties to the city. The First Lady of Texas is from Houston. The couple moved here after Abbott graduated from law school.
Abbott also wants to flip Harris County red.
