EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — An El Paso man was arrested after another man was shot Wednesday evening in Northeast El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department.
Police said officers responded to an assault-in-progress call around 7:54 p.m. in the 10300 block of Windsor Drive.
When officers arrived, they found David Rodriguez, 49, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Rodriguez was taken to the hospital.
Police identified Richard Montoya, 50, as the alleged offender.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, with a $75,000 bond, and discharge of a firearm in certain municipalities, with a $1,500 bond.
Montoya was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
The department’s Crimes Against Persons unit is investigating.
