A man was hospitalized after a reported stabbing near downtown. An investigation is underway amid conflicting accounts from three suspects, police say.
SAN ANTONIO — A 30-year-old man was hospitalized after he was found with multiple stab wounds early Saturday just north of downtown, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
SAPD said officers were dispatched around 2:11 a.m. to the 300 block of East French Place, near the St. Mary’s Strip, for a reported cutting in progress.
Officers found the man suffering from multiple stab wounds to various parts of his body, according to investigators. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
SAPD said the man was unable to provide officers with a description of what happened.
Police interviewed three people identified as suspects: a 46-year-old woman, a 38-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man. According to officials, all three provided conflicting accounts of the incident.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Information is preliminary and subject to change.
