Deputies responded Saturday afternoon to investigate a delayed report of a stabbing that reportedly occurred early Saturday morning near a picnic area on Transmountain Road.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the victim later went to a local hospital and reported the stabbing. Deputies responded to the area, collected evidence, and cleared the scene.
The victim has since been released from the hospital and did not suffer any major injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
