CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas —
Corpus Christi Police are responding to an officer-involved shooting near the intersection of Port Avenue and Agnes Street, a CCPD spokesperson told KRIS 6 News.
Details surrounding the incident remain limited.
KRIS 6 News reporter Jeydah Jenkins observed at least a dozen police vehicles in the area. Streets near the Circle K gas station at Port and Agnes were blocked off. Residents who live nearby gathered at the scene, approaching officers and asking for information.
Police have not yet provided an update. The police chief is expected to arrive at the scene shortly.
