HOUSTON – Detectives are asking for help identifying a man accused stealing items from a store in downtown Houston then threatening a security guard.
Police say it happened around 3:15 p.m. on July 22 on Elgin Street near Fannin.
According to police, the security guard saw the suspect concealing several items and was trying to leave without paying. When then security guard confronted him, the suspect allegedly said he had a gun, pushed the guard out of the way, then left with the unpaid merchandise.
