19-year-old identified following fatal motorcycle crash at The Pearl

SAN ANTONIO – Police have released the identity of Nathaniel Perez, 19, who died in a motorcycle crash Sunday morning.

The incident occurred just after midnight near the interchange of Interstate 35 and Highway 281. According to the San Antonio Police Department, Perez was traveling at a high rate of speed when he struck a highway wall.

The impact ejected Perez from his motorcycle, causing him to fall into a lower parking lot at The Pearl, where he died.
