Regan Hutsell previously danced with the Radio City Rockettes
A Texas dancer is wearing the Miss America crown Monday morning.
Regan Hutsell of Houston was crowned Miss America 2027 on Sunday following a week of competition that included fitness, interviews and a standout jazz performance to “Le Jazz Hot.”
Hutsell began dancing at age 4 and went on to perform with the Radio City Rockettes and the Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Her service initiative, “Your Body Is Your Home,” focuses on body image, as well as mental and physical wellness.
Along with the title, Hutsell will receive a scholarship as part of her Miss America win.
