Police responded to the intersection of Plano Rd and Walnut Hill Ln just before 12:30 p.m.
Police are investigating a deadly shooting in north Dallas.
Officers in the Northeast Division responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Plano Rd. and Walnut Hill Ln. at 12:25 p.m. Monday.
A WFAA photojournalist on scene confirmed at least one person was found dead.
Dalla Police Department officials said in a statement that it appeared an unknown suspect shot someone who was was driving. The driver was struck, causing them to crash into a tree. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, and pronounced the victim deceased, DPD said.
What led up to the shooting, the victim’s name and whether anyone has been arrested, was not immediately released by police.
