UT Health San Antonio is making a $1 billion multiyear investment to address growing demand for healthcare services in San Antonio and across South Texas. The initiative is designed to improve access to advanced medical care, expand research opportunities and strengthen the region’s healthcare infrastructure.

Key projects include the UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, which opened in 2024 and integrates outpatient care, inpatient services, clinical trials and specialized treatment programs into a coordinated care model. Additional investments include UT Health at Kyle Seale Parkway, a comprehensive outpatient center serving one of the city’s fastest-growing areas, and the Center for Brain Health, a $100 million facility focused on Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological conditions.
