Four juveniles are in custody following a chase involving Fort Worth police and a shooting Sunday afternoon, officials say.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officers were called at 1:34 p.m. to the 3400 block of Thannisch Avenue in response to reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police say they found one person had already been taken to a local hospital. No one had been shot, but the victim was injured by glass near a front door struck by the gunfire.
Police say early details show the incident began out of road rage, with one driver following another to their home and reportedly firing weapons at the family outside of the house.
According to FWPD, FLOCK cameras were able to provide police with data to find the vehicle. However, while trying to pull the suspect vehicle over with lights and sirens, the suspect driver reportedly tried evading officers.
Police say the chase ended near the 1900 block of Handley Ederville Road. During the pursuit, officers reportedly saw at least one weapon thrown out of the vehicle. Two guns were also found inside the car.
All four juveniles arrested are between the ages of 14 and 16, officials say. They will be interviewed but will not be identified due to their ages.
