Ahead of the National Day of Service and Remembrance on Sept. 11, Cowboy Chicken Plano presented Carry The Load with a $2,000 check.
This week, Cowboy Chicken Plano donated $2,000 to Carry The Load, a nonprofit providing support to veterans and children of service members who died in line-of-duty incidents.
Ahead of the National Day of Service and Remembrance, also known as 9/11 Day, the restaurant collected donations and proceeds from a themed weekend earlier this summer.
“We are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome Cowboy Chicken has received from the Plano community,” said Aaron White, operating partner and U.S. Marine veteran. “As we look beyond our grand opening, we are committed to becoming an active community partner building local relationships, supporting first responders and continuing to invest in organizations like Carry The Load that honor those who serve our country.”
