Carrizo Springs council votes 3-2 to immediately fire City Manager Azalia Garcia

CARRIZO SPRINGS, Texas — The Carrizo Springs City Council voted 3-2 to immediately terminate City Manager Azalia Garcia on Tuesday.

Councilmember Anika Santana admitted she placed the item on the agenda, but would not elaborate why. Garcia immediately left the meeting.

We spoke to Garcia who said the news came as a shock, and she’s hoping for an explanation.
