LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock police are on the scene of a pursuit that ended in a crash on Tuesday evening.
Police say the major crash unit is investigating at 47th & U.
A release from LPD said: “At 6:39 p.m. an officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop at 48th and U. However, the driver fled, prompting the officer to initiate the pursuit before the suspect vehicle crashed. The driver suffered moderate injuries. The officer was not injured.”
The injured person was in another vehicle that was struck by the fleeing vehicle.
