SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Five middle school students are expected to recover after they were hospitalized Thursday after eating THC gummies at Harmony School of Innovation on the Northeast Side.

Bexar County sheriff’s deputies said the gummies were brought to campus by a student. All five students became sick and were taken for medical care but are expected to be OK.

Officials are warning parents to be especially cautious about THC-laced candy as Halloween approaches.
