LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The No. 6 Lubbock-Cooper Liberty Patriots can finally shake off last year’s loss, as they topped Midland Greenwood for the first time in school history 56-25 Friday night at Patriot Stadium.
QB Cy Leach led Liberty to a 14-0 start with two handoffs to RB Talon Wildcox. They made the score 21-0 with a J.J. Thompson score.
The Patriots face another tough non-district test next Friday as they head up I-27 to face the 2-1 West Plains Wolves.
