San Antonio police are investigating the death of a man whose decomposed body was found Friday night by a passerby off Wurzbach Parkway on the city’s North Side.
A witness told police they were walking to fish at a water basin around 8 p.m. when they found the body in the 7200 block of Wurzbach Parkway.
Police determined the body had gunshot wounds. Bullet casings were also found nearby, SAPD said.
The identity of the deceased man is currently unknown. SAPD said this is an active investigation.
