SAN ANTONIO – Civic leaders, Hispanic-owned businesses and community organizations are coming together on the city’s East Side later this month for “Construyendo Juntos,” a free, week-long Hispanic Heritage Month celebration running Sept. 21-26.

Presented by The Entrepreneurial World (TEWo), the event is designed to celebrate Hispanic contributions while also focusing on “the opportunities that will shape our future,” according to a TEWo press release dated Sept. 9, 2026.

Programming will run Monday through Saturday, Sept. 21-26, with weekday events hosted at Flor de Café Company inside The Andy at 215 Coca-Cola Pl., #119. Organizers said Flor de Café will host five 45-minute conversations each morning from 8:30 a.m. to noon, with each day centered on a different theme:

Monday — Community & Civic ImpactTuesday — Leadership & Professional SuccessWednesday — Wellness & HealthcareThursday — Education, Workforce & InnovationFriday — Entrepreneurship & Business

The week concludes Saturday, Sept. 26, with the Construyendo Juntos Resource and Opportunity Fair, hosted by United Way at the Eastside Family Resource Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Organizers said the fair will connect attendees with resources in education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, small business, capital access, financial literacy, community services, and arts and culture.

Organizers described Construyendo Juntos as more than a single week, saying it is intended to continue conversations about how East Side businesses, leaders and neighbors can work together, navigate shared challenges and build on what’s already working in the community.
