ESPN recently predicted Texas football will come in ranked No. 10 in this week’s upcoming College Football Playoff rankings, ahead of the program’s SEC showdown versus Georgia this weekend. And according to ESPN’s prediction, the No. 10 seed would set up Texas for a matchup against its former Big 12 rival, Texas Tech, which was predicted to land at the No. 7 seed this week (and, for this exercise, this season.)
