Get ready to eat, dance and celebrate! Arlington’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration returns to the Levitt Pavilion Arlington on Saturday, Oct. 3, for its fifth annual celebration of Hispanic culture and community.
From delicious food and cultural performances to live music and salsa dancing, the free, family-friendly event will bring the community together for an evening of fun in the heart of Downtown Arlington.
“This event means so much to the Levitt and to our community. It’s going to be so much fun. We really need you there,” said Angela Peña, Executive Director Levitt Pavilion Arlington
The celebration continues to grow each year. More than 6,000 people attended last year, and organizers are hoping to welcome around 7,000 this year. The Levitt Pavilion is located at 100 W Abram St.
“Each year it gets bigger and bigger. It really shows that the community is here for one another. And it’s not just the Latinos in the community, it’s all of Arlington,” said Karina Nuñez, social media manager for the Arlington Latino Advisory Council.
The festivities kick off at 4 p.m. with a market featuring more than 60 food, retail, cultural and nonprofit vendors. Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy performances, dancing and live music.
Event Schedule
4 p.m. — Vendor Market
4:45 p.m. — Levitt Youth Spotlight performer Sarah Piña
5 p.m. — Sam Houston High School Mariachi
5:30 p.m. — Grupo de Danza Azteca San Jose
6 p.m. — Salsa at the Gardens

“This is our most attended free concert. Last year we had over 6,000 people, and this year it might even be bigger. We definitely would love for everyone to come out,” Peña said.
The celebration is more than a night of entertainment. It is an opportunity for Arlington residents to come together and recognize the culture, contributions and growing presence of the city’s Hispanic community.
“Latinos are part of every aspect of our community. We own businesses, we own homes, we are educators and we are everywhere. It’s important that we celebrate the contributions we make to Arlington,” said Sal Morales, co-chair of the Arlington Latino Advisory Council
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Bring your family and friends, along with lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy an evening filled with food, music, dancing and community. The event is also dog-friendly and allows attendees to bring their own beverages (BYOB).
