KERRVILLE, Texas — Two people were found dead Wednesday morning inside a home in Kerrville, prompting an ongoing death investigation.
According to the Kerrville Police Department, officers were called to the 600 block of Lois Street about 9:45 a.m. to check on a man who had not been seen for several days.
After entering the residence, they found an adult man and woman with apparent gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was identified as 62-year-old Shannon Ratliff. The man was identified as 64-year-old Wayne Ratliff.
Authorities are investigating the deaths as a possible murder-suicide. Wayne Ratliff is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
