Robstown runoff election set for December 13

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Voters in Robstown will return to the polls next month for a runoff election set for December 13, 2025.

In the mayor’s race, Mary Ann Saenz led with about 40.45% of the vote, followed by incumbent David “Petey” Martinez with about 37.2%, according to unofficial results from the Nueces County Clerk’s Office. Because neither candidate secured a majority, both will advance to the December runoff.

A runoff will also be held for City Council Place 1, where John Ramon and Robert Silguero were the top two finishers.

The last day to register to vote in the runoff is November 13.

Early voting runs December 1–9, and the last day to apply for a ballot by mail is December 2.

Election Day voting takes place Saturday, December 13.

Official results and polling information are available through the Nueces County Clerk’s election portal.
