PLANO – Visit Rockwall took first place in the Meeting and Convention Promotion category at the 2026 Texas Tourism Awards, recognizing the organization’s efforts to promote Rockwall as a destination for meetings and conventions.
The award was announced during the Destinations Texas 2026 Annual Conference, held Sept. 2-4 at the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano.
Visit Rockwall was selected from destination marketing and management organizations across Texas. Visit Kilgore placed second in the category.
The annual conference drew nearly 400 tourism professionals from across the state for three days of educational sessions, networking and recognition of achievements in the Texas tourism industry.
