Teenager may have known one of the suspects from school
SAN ANTONIO – A 16-year-old boy was shot Sunday evening, the San Antonio Police Department said as they search for two suspects.
The teenager was found inside a West Side apartment, police said, around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Menchaca and Elmendorf streets near West Poplar Street and North Zarzamora. Police said the boy was shot at least twice.
Two suspects ran from the scene, according to police. Investigators believe one of them is a teenager who may know the victim from school.
Police said they do not know what led to the shooting, and said the investigation is ongoing.
