Pedestrian killed in crash on I-30 near Center Street; westbound lanes closed, officials say

Authorities are urging drivers to find alternate routes until further notice.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Authorities from Arlington are investigating an auto-pedestrian collision that happened Sunday evening on westbound I-30, leaving lanes closed near Center Street.

One person was killed in the collision according to Arlington police, who first responded to the scene at about 8:40 p.m.

All westbound lanes of I-30 are currently shut down at Center Street. Arlington police are encouraging drivers to find alternate routes.
