“One, I really want the Cowboys to win today. Second is field energy here. It’s such great energy here,” Bezos said. “There’s something special about this stadium… about this team, and of course, something special about Jerry. It’s great to be his guest.”
Jones added that he wanted energy at the stadium for his team’s home opener. He said he “pulled out all the stops” to expand the energy by having Bezos as a visitor.
“I think it’s a great opportunity for the league to expose more people to American football … that kind of exposure is a great deal,” Bezos said.
Jones and Bezos visited for several minutes before Sunday’s game kicked off. Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, posed for photos with members of the Jones family on the field at AT&T Stadium.
