A 31-year-old man was found dead Monday after a passerby spotted him floating face down in a creek on San Antonio’s West Side, according to police.
The passerby discovered the man shortly after 11 a.m. near West Commerce and Southwest 24th streets, near Elmendorf Lake and Our Lady of the Lake University, according to a San Antonio police report.
San Antonio firefighters pulled the man from the water and performed lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the man had no visible injuries and found no signs of foul play.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine his cause and manner of death.
