City of Houston to honor veterans with ceremony and parade downtown

HOUSTON — Tuesday is Veterans Day and the city plans to honor our brave servicemen and servicewomen with a celebration at Houston City Hall.

It all begins with a ceremony at 10 a.m., which KHOU 11 will stream live on KHOU 11+, followed by the “American Heroes Parade” at 11:30 a.m.   

The parade begins on Dallas at Bagby, then heads to Louisiana up to Walker, over to smith and down to Lamar. It then ends on Lamar at Bagby.

The city says there will be free parking in the Theater District garage on Walker.
