A new “circus” is in town, bringing exotic cocktails, plenty of animal print and an extra layer of whimsy to one of the Hill Country’s most popular nightlife scenes.
The boujee bar spinoff continues the playful vibe the Bubble Bar is known for, but instead of champagne and its signature frozen strawberry rosé, Brooke’s Boujee Bar will curate an over-the-top cocktail experience centered on theatrical decor, circus-tent vibes, wild animals and fabulous photo ops.
“From the moment guests walk through the doors, they are transported into Brooke’s interpretation of a glamorous circus,” a press release reads.
The owner says the idea came to her in part because of a social media comment a few years ago, in which someone said her popular business was creating a circus downtown.
“These are my monkeys, and this is my circus,” the nightlife ringleader said about the latest expansion.
It opened on September 1 across the street from Brooke’s Bubble Bar on Main Street. Visitors are free to go back and forth between the two locations. Rogan is also the owner of Brooke’s Bubble Bus, which offers charters for girls’ trips, bachelorette parties and winery tours around town.
The new cocktail bar will have a Ferris wheel and caviar service, according to the bar’s Instagram page. Rogan told MySA that she believes this may be her most creative concept yet.
“There’s nothing like this in town, maybe even in Texas,” she said. Available cocktails include the animal-themed Rum-Striped Zebra, the Giraffe Gin Fizz and the Monkey Margarita.
