The mother of a Texas teenager involved in a viral video confrontation with ICE officers has been deported.
The Department of Homeland Security says Teresa Ochoa was detained Monday at her workplace and returned to Mexico.
DHS calls it a “targeted operation,” citing a previous removal order.
This follows her son’s arrest earlier this month in Alamo during an incident where video captured an ICE officer punching another teen.
Both teens were held in ICE custody for eight hours before being released.
