SAN ANTONIO -A second arrest has been made in connection with the death of a man who was found shot to death on the city’s Southeast Side.
Amanda Ann Garza is accused of taking part in the kidnapping of Jaime Aldofo Rodriguez, whose body was found along New Sulphur Springs Road on Sept. 6.

Rodriguez had been shot in the upper chest. He also had injuries to his head and face, along with several broken ribs, according to the arrest report.
Garza’s arrest comes days after Francisco Garza was arrested for not reporting the attack and abduction. He had told investigators he witnessed what happened, but did not call for help because he was scared and did not think Rodriguez would be killed.
Investigators say Rodriguez was last seen early Sept. 5 after driving to a home near Rivas Street. Surveillance video reportedly shows several people confronting and attacking him outside the home.
Rodriguez tried to run away while wearing only a T-shirt and underwear, but investigators say two men with guns caught him and brought him back. He was then forced into the back of a white SUV, which drove away. His rental car followed behind it.
The affidavit says Amanda Garza was among the people involved. Investigators matched her clothing and arm tattoos to a woman seen in surveillance video. Doorbell footage from her home also showed her wearing similar clothing the night before Rodriguez disappeared.
She is charged with aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon.
