Two people were sent to the hospital in severe condition following an early morning stabbing in a Northeast El Paso neighborhood, authorities said.

El Paso police officers responded to a stabbing at about 4:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, in the 3800 block of Fred Wilson Avenue, west of Dyer Street, in the Logan Heights neighborhood, Detective Judy Oviedo, an El Paso Police Department police spokeswoman, said in an email.

El Paso Fire Department paramedics rushed one person to a hospital by ambulance, Code 3, meaning with lights and sirens, and the second person was transported by the Fire STAR ambulance helicopter, EPFD spokesman Hector Gonzalez said.
No further information was disclosed by police, including whether there had been any arrests or the circumstances involving the stabbing.
