Angie’s, the chain that serves lobster and prime steaks at its drive-through at affordable prices, opened its third restaurant in Texas earlier this month, in Irving.

The new Angie’s is located at 2271 North Belt Line Road in Irving, and offers drive-through, online ordering and dine-in service. The chain accepts all forms of payment except cash.

As with its other restaurants, the menu includes USDA prime sirloin steak, wild-caught jumbo shrimp, salmon and antibiotic-free chicken, all grilled and prepared to order.

But perhaps the most surprising thing is the price. You can get a large salad with antibiotic-free chicken or homemade falafel for just $4.99, or a snow crab roll for $9.99. They also serve pizzas, with prices ranging from $6.99 to $9.99.

That combination of top-quality ingredients served in a fast-food model at fast-food prices is the core concept behind Angie’s.

“Our entire model revolves around efficiency,” co-founder Tony Christofellis said in a statement. “Most restaurants raise prices to compensate for inefficiency. We’ve redesigned the system itself.”

To offer an antibiotic-free chicken salad at an affordable price, for example, the brand has a distribution center that processes beverages and sauces in Phoenix, a chicken processing plant in New York, and its own fleet of trucks, Christofellis explained.

“That efficiency-driven model allows us to keep prices low while investing in high wages and the best ingredients we can source,” said Christofellis. “Our culture is about eliminating costs that aren’t essential to our mission.”

The restaurant pays tribute to Angela “Angie” Christofellis, Tony’s mother, who immigrated from Greece to Boston and spent her life working in seafood restaurants before opening Angela’s Seafood outside Boston. Tony and his wife, Roushan Christofellis, who co-founded Salad and Go in 2011, co-founded Angie’s in her honor in 2022.

“Luxury foods should not only be available to higher-income consumers,” said Roushan Christofellis in the same statement. “To achieve that mission, we had to rethink the traditional restaurant model from the ground up.”

The company currently has 26 locations in Arizona, Nevada and Texas, including restaurants in Plano and Little Elm, which opened in November 2025 and June 2026.

The Irving restaurant is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with breakfast coming soon.
