SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County has a new tool that will help voters stay updated on election day.

For the first time, the Bexar County Elections Department will have real-time wait times at polling locations. Voters will be able to track how busy a polling place is before heading out to vote.

The San Antonio chapter of the League of Women Voters spoke about the new program a little more on Focus on South Texas.

“Because in Bexar County you can vote at any voting location. If you go on to that website, check where the lines are, you’ll know which location to go to where perhaps the lines aren’t as or maybe there’s not even a line at all.”

Election Day is November 3. Early voting kicks off in just a few weeks on October 19.
