Just in time for Formula 1 next month, the new amusement park at Circuit of The Americas opens its doors to the public at 4 p.m. today. The 30-acre park is home to more than 30 rides, including five roller coasters that range from kids’ rides to supercoasters.

Some of the buzziest attractions include Texas’ first tilt coaster (Circuit Breaker) and the country’s first infinity shuttle coaster (Palindrome), which features a zero g-stall. Family-friendly rides such as a log flume (Soggy Logger), pirate ride (Smuggler’s Curse), Ferris wheel (Victory Wheel), and giant swing ride (Cloud Flyer) also beckon guests.

Checkers during the fireworks celebration.

On Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m., guests can purchase tickets for $99 a person to explore COTALAND, enjoy complimentary food and beverages, check out a ribbon cutting ceremony with celebrity guests, and enjoy a fireworks celebration at night. The park will also be open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with tickets available for $65 a person.
