SAN ANTONIO — A 21-year-old man was injured in a drive-by shooting early Sunday just north of downtown.

Officers were called just before 2 a.m. to the 1300 block of McCullough Avenue.

The man told officers he was near Brooklyn and Broadway when he felt a sting in his lower extremities and saw a dark-colored vehicle speed away. He then realized he had been shot, police said.

A family member took the man to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made, and police are not sure what led up to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
