A woman is dead and three others are injured after a multivehicle crash that occurred Monday evening near Dallas’ east and southeast Oak Cliff neighborhoods.
Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said units responded to the intersection of Wadsworth Drive and Great Trinity Forest Way shortly after 5 p.m. following reports of a crash involving two to three vehicles.
Police were dispatched about seven minutes after DFR arrived, according to Dallas Police Department spokeswoman Erika Brown. DPD active call logs show more than 10 units responded to the crash.
Five rescue vehicles and an EMS supervisor were sent to the crash site, Evans said.
One woman, who wasn’t publicly identified, died at the scene. Evans said three others, a man and two women, were taken to hospitals with “serious injuries.”
No arrests were made, Brown said, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
