AUSTIN, Texas — CapMetro is encouraging Austin City Limits Music Festival attendees to take transit to Zilker Park, with bus, rail and bikeshare options running during both weekends of the festival.

Bus Routes 3, 30 and 803 all serve the festival for $1.25 per ride.

Routes 3 and 803 stop near Barton Springs Road and North Lamar Boulevard, about a half-mile walk from Zilker Park. Route 30 stops at Spyglass Drive near MoPac on the southwest side of the park, though it will be detoured off Barton Springs Road during the festival.

Night Owl buses run until 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights.

The official ACL shuttle location has moved to Sand Beach Park at Walter Seaholm and Electric drives.

Red Line riders can travel downtown for $3.50 per ride, then take a bus or a CapMetro Bikeshare bike to the festival.

Trains will run special service on Sundays, Oct. 4 and Oct. 11, and the last trains leave downtown at 12:30 a.m. each night of ACL. CapMetro warns trains could be crowded Oct. 10 because of a game at Q2 Stadium.

CapMetro is also hosting a bikeshare valet at 1732 Toomey Road.

Riders can pay with a phone or card when boarding, through the Umo app, or with exact change on buses.

For help with directions, riders can call CapMetro’s GO Line at 512-474-1200, which will have extended hours on Oct. 3 until 8 p.m. and on Oct. 10 until 11 p.m.
