Cult classics kick off the scares
Opening weekend brings several familiar horror favorites back to the theater.
The lineup includes a pairing of “Friday the 13th” and “A Bay of Blood,” along with “Carrie” and “Jennifer’s Body.”
It’s all part of Panic at the Paramount’s annual celebration of scary cinema, giving horror fans a chance to experience films both old and new with an audience on the big screen.

Horror gets the IMAX treatment
This year, the scares are also spreading beyond the Paramount itself.
Audiences can go even bigger with IMAX screenings that include “It” and “Sinners,” bringing two very different kinds of horror to an especially massive screen.

Get crafty with your scary movies
Not every spooky-season movie night has to leave you hiding behind your popcorn.
