Authorities connected the 55-year-old Simpson to his wife’s death after she was reported missing on Oct. 6, 2024, following a party at the Argyle Club in Alamo Heights.
Simpson reported his wife missing, but her body has never been found. Investigators collected evidence in the days after her disappearance, and Simpson was taken into custody three days later, on Oct. 9, in connection with her death.
Bexar County court records show Simpson was charged with murder on Nov. 7, 2024, and indicted a month later.
