MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) – Moline is adding the popular restaurant chain Texas Roadhouse to the John Deere Road corridor.
The city sold property to Scout Capital Group to build a Texas Roadhouse at 3620 38th Ave., the road north of John Deere Road for $800,000, according to city council documents.
The city offered the business a tax incentive of up to $350,000 over seven years.
The city is responsible for delivering municipal utilities to the lot line as part of the agreement.
The city approved the sale in June.
Scout Capital Group has two years to begin construction, according to city documents.
