Susan Eugenie Slone, 80, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Susan was a sweet and loving woman with a wonderful laugh that brought joy to those around her. She loved the Lord and found comfort in her faith. She is now in His hands, at peace and free from the struggles of this life. Susan had a special love for collecting chickens, purses, shopping, and gardening—simple pleasures that reflected her unique personality and the things that made her happy. Susan is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Slone; her son, Tim Slone; her grandsons, Corey and James; her great-grandchildren, Eliza, Emmet, and Elliott; her sister, Janie Hutson; and her brother, Mark Hargett.
