National Coffee Day may be over, but Corpus Christi coffee lovers have another reason to grab a cup on Wednesday morning.
Dutch Bros Coffee announced the grand opening of its new location at 6218 Saratoga Blvd., saying it will welcome customers from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
The opening comes just one day after National Coffee Day, which was celebrated nationwide on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The Saratoga Boulevard shop is the first Dutch Bros location in Corpus Christi. The company previously announced plans to enter the Corpus Christi market this year.
The new building is about 986 square feet and was designed for drive-thru and walk-up service, according to records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The project was listed at an estimated construction cost of $750,000.
Dutch Bros serves more than traditional coffee. Its menu includes cold brew, iced lattes and mochas, along with energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies and other customizable drinks.
The new shop is located along the busy Saratoga Boulevard corridor near Cimarron Boulevard.
