LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A grand jury has indicted a Lubbock man for indecency with a child.
Court records show 62-year-old Valdemar Gonzales exposed and sexually gratified himself at a public park near 23rd and T last month.
Documents show a child and an adult witnessed the act, while another witness confronted Gonzales and took a picture of him before he ran off.
Police said they identified him by distinct tattoos in that photo that matched his arrest records.
They arrested him a couple weeks later.
If convicted, Gonzales faces up to 10 years in prison.
