San Antonio, Texas — SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a man wearing a medical boot who investigators say was seen running from the scene of a shooting while holding a handgun.
According to BCSO, multiple gunshots were heard around 3:50 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 6000 block of Candle Meadow.
Investigators said a Black man wearing a medical boot was spotted fleeing the area with a handgun.
Multiple vehicles were struck by gunfire during the incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
BCSO has now released a photograph of the man as investigators work to identify him.
Unlike many suspects featured in On the Run, deputies do not have a name to release this time. They are hoping someone will recognize the man from the photograph or the distinctive medical boot he was seen wearing.
The sheriff’s office has not released additional information about what led to the gunfire or whether anyone was injured.
