SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio City Council held a special session this morning to discuss the city’s proposed 2027-2032 Bond Program, including projects aimed at flood control and improving the city’s preparedness for severe weather.

City staff briefed council members on proposed bond allocations and provided an update on community input gathered as the city develops the six-year program. The discussion comes as San Antonio continues to address flooding, drainage, and infrastructure concerns during major storms.

Council members were also scheduled to receive a closed-door briefing on emergency preparedness issues, along with cybersecurity measures involving SAWS and CPS Energy.
