List: Dallas-Fort Worth storm and weather-related cancellations

Some venues announced closures and some events were canceled due to an ongoing flood watch that impacted North Texas Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service’s Office in Fort Worth projected heavy rain throughout Wednesday and Thursday. Most of the area will likely see 1.5 to 3 inches, though there were up to 5 inches possible in some locations. 

Though, the State Fair of Texas continues rain or shine, some outdoor events could be impacted due to the forecast, a spokeswoman previously told The Dallas Morning News.
